Occasionally I do offer many non-vintage items such as prints and art relating to the time period. All sales are final, so please make sure your questions are answered to your satisfaction before you purchase.Īlthough my passion is the Me109, I do offer many other German Aircraft (Fw190, Me262, etc.), as well as USAF and Japanese items. I will describe each auction to the best of my knowledge and take as many photos necessary to ensure you are pleased upon receiving your item. Most of my items are vintage, and as such are AS-IS, so you must therefore expect a degree of wear due to age and/or usage. If you need it shipped sooner, please let me know and I will do our best to accommodate. However, depending on circumstances, it may take up to an additional 1 week from receipt of confirmed payment. My goal is to ship within 7 days from auction end. Payment should be made within 7 business days at the end of the auction unless buyer contacts me for other arrangements. Please email me if you need additional photos or information. Neck strap is also original to this set!Ī VERY NICE example, it would make a PERFECT addition to any collection or display! The leather rain shield is original to this set, and though it is difficult to see in the photos, features a 1938 date, an early Weimar Eagle Waffenamt, and a matching “ E. As they are in used condition, there are some slight marks and scratches throughout. The odd thing is that they are marked “ H/6400” indicating these should have a ranging scale…however I do not see one when looking through.

Leitz, Wetzlar, these 6 x 30 power binoculars are in VERY NICE used condition! The lens bodies retain about 90% of their original paint and finish, as well as the faux-leather covering! End piece fittings are 100% intact! The focus adjustments still function, and the image is AMAZING! 100% crystal clear with NO spotting, fogginess, or dust particles! Optical alignment is also perfect! The right side body is marked Dienstglas (Service Binoculars), 6×30, along with the serial number, “ 220837“.

Though this type was the standard, specialized personnel required stinger optics, and were issued to personnel on a limited basis. The German Army and Navy used a wide variety of optical equipment, including a 6×30 (6 power magnification with 30mm objective lens), 7×50, 8×30, 10×50 and others, being the standard issued optics used by all branches of service.

You are bidding on an EXCELLENT example set of a WW2 German Wehrmacht / Luftwaffe 6×30 Binoculars & Rain Shield! These were brought back by a US Veteran at the end of the war.
